The McDevitt Partnership Limited was founded with the belief that high-quality, independent professional financial planning advice can only be achieved through a face to face, fee-paying relationship, in an attempt to depart from the longstanding commission based nature of UK Financial Advice. Solid foundations and ongoing reviews are essential for mutual satisfaction.

Paul McDevitt, the Principal, holds the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner licence and achieved the prestigious Chartered Financial Planner status since its inauguration at the start of 2006, making him one of the most highly qualified financial planning advisers in the UK.

The McDevitt Partnership is based in Hitchin, but we work with clients throughout the UK and beyond.

Our Approach and Beliefs

We believe that the key to financial planning success lies in a healthy two way relationship between adviser and client with a shared desire to achieve the established goals. There are a limited number of investment techniques, asset classes and legal structures. Our aim is to educate client to empower them to better financial decision making.

Our approach may be broken down into a few simple steps.

• Initial complimentary meeting to establish scope of advice.
• Written scoping document to agree advice and fees/costs.
• Second meeting to discuss and implement report or advice.
• Regular ongoing review at agreed intervals.
